A representative of Margreta is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. We handsculpt each face, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.
Margreta comes with a solid pine seat.

Margreta is a doll maker. While she is skilled at making many different kinds of dolls, her favorite to create are the simple yarn dolls. She never runs out of materials, for her little cabin is filled to the brim with the cheerful, colorful yarns that she uses to make them.
Margreta is 9" inches tall, from the bottom of her boots to the top of her head (not her hat!). She is wearing a yarn-dyed cotton skirt, with handstitched patches. She has cotton velveteen leggings, and a blouse made of organic cotton and linen. Around her neck is a glass drop. Her hat is made from a woven material of hemp, linen, ramie and organic cotton, and her woven shawl is linen/cotton. Her boots are ultrasuede, now partially made with plant material. In one hand she holds the yarn dolls she has crafted, made from organic Peruvian cotton yarn.
Margreta's face is hand sculpted using felt over clay. Her eyes are handblown/handpainted German glass. Her hair is made from natural flax fiber. She is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. She comes with a solid pine seat. Her arms are wired. All of our dolls are 100% vegan.
