A representative of Anja is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. We handsculpt each face, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.
Anja comes with a solid pine seat.

Anja loves the holiday season! On many a cold, brisk morning, she can be found hurrying along woodland paths, as she visits her friends in the forest. There might be a wonderful little present, or two, tucked away in her holiday bag!
Anja is 9" inches tall, from the bottom of her boots to the top of her head (not her hat!). She is wearing a yarn-dyed cotton flannel skirt, with handstitched patches. She has cotton velveteen leggings, and an organic colorgrown cotton shirt, woven in a delicate, intricate pattern. Colorgrown cotton grows in this beautiful shade naturally! Around her neck is a gold glass drop. Her hat is made from cotton velvet and her woven shawl is yarn dyed flannel. Her boots are ultrasuede, now partially made with plant material. From one arm hangs her holiday bag - made of handbrushed colorgrown organic cotton fabric from Peru, and filled with Maine Balsam. Colorgrown cotton grows in this beautiful color naturally - no dyes are used. It is embellished with vintage Swedish trim, glass beads and a tiny alder cone. (Please note that all natural materials such as cones, bark or sticks, are high-heat dried prior to use).
We hand sculpt Anja's face using bamboo felt over clay. Her eyes are handblown/handpainted German glass. Her creamy white hair is made from natural hemp fiber. She is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. She comes with a solid pine seat. Her arms are wired. All of our dolls are 100% vegan.
