A representative of Ravik is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. Each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Ravik is ready for a festive day! The word went out by messenger, a week ago, inviting all the Nisser in the area to a fun filled party to celebrate. Celebrate what? Why everything … their friends, the wildlife, the pine trees and the little rivers that surround their tiny cabins with their warm hearths. The Everything Celebration is to be held in a large meadow at the base of a mountain, quite far from Ravik’s home, so he must get a move on if he’s to make it on time!
New for 2024. Ravik is 14" tall (12" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots. Ravik's warm, richly colored tunic is made of yarn-dyed cotton flannel. His sleeves are yarn-dyed cotton, his legs cotton velveteen and his warm hat is organic cotton french terry knit, topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel. His boots and belt are made from an eco-friendly faux leather fabric called Pinatex. This beautiful material is sustainably made from pineapple fiber! A brass key hangs from his belt.
Ravik is ready for a fun day of festivities, with his water flask, which hangs around his shoulder. It is made of ultrasuede (now 30% plant-derived), hangs from a color-grown organic cotton yarn strap, is edged with organic cotton yarn and and decorated with a small gold glass bead. Organic colorgrown cotton grows naturally in this beautiful olive color - no pesticides and no dyes are used.
Ravik's face is bamboo felt. His eyes are hand blown, hand painted German glass. His beard is handmade from natural flax fiber (grey). He is stuffed with a combination of glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired and his head turns.
All of our figures are 100% vegan. Ravik comes with a solid cedar seat (shown below and to the left), and a Legend of the Nisse story tag.
