We use no molds for our figures - each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is different. This is what makes each handmade doll unique. While the faces of the men elf dolls do vary a little, the faces and the hair of the lady dolls vary greatly from doll to doll, so each lady doll's face is photographed individually.

As the nights get very cold in the fall, Jack Frost’s
glittery work can be seen all through the land – through
forests and pastures, on pumpkins and window sills.
But how does he manage such a magical feat? Deep in the woods, far from human eyes, is a cozy little house where Janet and Jack Frost live, and which she also keeps beautifully decorated with tiny ice crystals. Many times, she even helps him on his rounds. You didn’t think Jack got all that frosting done without a lot of help from his soulmate?
Janet Frost
is 14 inches tall, from the bottom of her boots to the top of her head (not her hat!). She is wearing a woven yarn-dyed cotton flannel skirt, with handstitched patches. Janet has cotton velveteen leggings, and a warm natural shirt made of organic cotton and hemp. Around her neck is a white glass drop. Her soft hat is Peruvian organic cotton hand-brushed fleece fabric - it has been ecofriendly whitened with H2O2, embellished with natural crystal quartz beads, and topped with a cotton yarn tassel. Her boots are sewn from ultrasuede (now 30% plant-based). To keep warm, she holds a lush winter muff, made of organic cotton faux fur. Janet's hat and muff are embellished with frosty bioglitter - unlike conventional harmful glitter, which never decays and gets into the oceans, streams and lakes, this glitter is made of plant material, is plastic free and is designed to breakdown in a non-toxic way.
Janet's face is hand sculpted using felt over clay. Her eyes are handblown/handpainted German glass. Her hair is made from whitened flax fiber. She is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. Her arms are wired.
All of our figures are 100% vegan. Large nisser and Frosts come with solid, cedar wood seats (shown below with a nisse).
