A representative of Knut is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. Each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Knut is in his element - hiking in the woods while the cool autumn breezes blow and the bright orange and gold oak leaves drift down from the sky. It is his time of year!
Knut is 14" tall (12" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots. Knut's warm houndstooth tunic is made of black, brown and camel yarn-dyed cotton flannel. His sleeves are cotton, his legs cotton velveteen and his warm hat is organic cotton fleece, topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel. His boots are ultrasuede, as is his belt, from which hangs a brass acorn.
Knut never hikes without his water flask, which hangs around his shoulder and is made of ultrasuede, edged with organic cotton and decorated with a small silver glass bead. (Please note that we are in the process of transitioning to the newest uiltrasuede, which is 30% plant derived)
Knut's face is bamboo felt. His eyes are hand blown, hand painted German glass. His beard is handmade from natural flax fiber (grey). He is stuffed with a combination of glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired and his head turns.
All of our figures are 100% vegan. Knut comes with a solid cedar seat (shown below and to the left), and a Legend of the Nisse story tag.
