Jack Frost lives deep in the woods. As the days grow short and the nights long, this little old fellow springs into action. He works secretly, after dark, busily painting frost over every single thing he can think of.
You'll probably never see him, but when
the frost is on your window sill, you know that he's around!
A representative of Jack is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. We handsculpt each face, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.
Jack comes a solid pine seat.

Jack Frost is wearing a cotton velveteen tunic, embellished with handstitched opalite chips. His almost iridescent pale blue and cream sleeves are a gorgeous soft linen; the fabric is woven in Italy from long fiber linen, which is grown without the use of any pesticides. He has cotton velveteen leggings and yarn-dyed cotton sleeves. His mittens are bamboo felt and his boots and belt are ultrasuede (now 30% plant based).
On Jack's belt hangs a tiny pouch (made of organic cotton/linen/viscose fabric) that holds the glittery frost that Jack sprinkles about the cold lands - it magically refills with frost each time he empties it. His soft hat is sewn from bamboo and organic cotton fabric, and finished with an organic cotton tassel. Jack's hat and frost pouch are embellished with frosty bioglitter - unlike conventional harmful glitter, which never decays and gets into the oceans, streams and lakes, this glitter is made of plant material, is plastic free and is designed to breakdown in a non-toxic way. His arms and hat are wired. His body is filled with organic cotton batting and glass pellets, and his legs are filled with glass pellets. We sculpt Jack's face from bamboo felt. (His handpainted, sparkling blue glass eyes were hand-blown in Germany and are set off by his organic cotton yarn eyebrows. His outfit is scattered with handstitched patches. We sew Jack's hair and beard from whitened flax fiber. His arms are wired.
Jack is 9" tall (the same size as the small nisser - Norwegian elves) as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots.
For seating, Jack comes with a solid pine seat (the same seat as the small nisser). He is 9" tall (8" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots.
