Einar is a woodsman by trade, He can often be seen returning home, after a long day's work, carrying a tote filled with logs to heat his own home.
Einar's warm tunic is made of yarn-dyed cotton flannel. His sleeves are cotton, his legs cotton velveteen and his red hat is organic cotton fleece topped with an organic cotton yarn tassel. His boots are ultrasuede, as is his belt, from which hangs a small pewter pinecone.
From one hand, Einar carries a log tote. Made of long fiber Italian linen, the tote is trimmed with organic cotton yarn, a small glass bead, and organic cotton braid. (It's fun to note that this delicate hand-dyed braid is made in South Carolina with an antique braiding machine and 13 strands of organic cotton yarn). His tote is filled with oak and maple logs - these will help to keep his tiny cabin warm and cozy through the fall and winter. (Please note that all natural materials such as cones, bark or sticks, are high-heat dried prior to use)
Einar's face is bamboo felt. His beard is handmade from natural flax fiber (grey). His eyes are hand blown German glass. He is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired and his head turns.
Einar is 14" tall (12" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots.
