A representative of Edvard is shown in the photo above. We use no molds for our figures. Each face is handsculpted, one at a time, which means each face is slightly different and will not look exactly like the face in the photo. This is what makes each handmade doll unique.

Edvard loves the holiday season and is the quintessential Christmas elf!
Edvard is 14" tall (12" when seated), as measured from the top of his head (not the top of his hat) to the bottom of his boots. Edvard's soft red tunic is made of cotton velvet lined with warm yarn-dyed cotton flannel. His sleeves are yarn-dyed Japanese cotton, his legs are cotton velveteen and his green cotton knit hat is topped with a red organic cotton yarn tassel. His boots are ultrasuede (now partially made with plant materials), as is his belt, from which hangs a pewter pinecone.
Edvard's sack is made from handbrushed colorgrown organic cotton fabric from Peru. Organic colorgrown cotton grows in this beautiful color naturally - no dyes are used. It is embellished with vintage Swedish trim, a tiny alder cone and glass beads, and is filled with Maine balsam. (Please note that all natural materials such as cones, bark or sticks, are high-heat dried prior to use).
Edvard's face is bamboo felt. His eyes are hand blown, hand painted German glass. His beard is handmade from natural creamy-white hemp fiber. He is stuffed with a combination of recycled glass pellets and organic cotton stuffing. His arms are wired and his head turns.
All of our figures are 100% vegan. Edvard comes with a solid cedar seat (shown below and to the left), and a Legend of the Nisse story tag.
