Elmira stands 17 inches tall from the heels of her boots to the tip of her hat. She wears a yarn dyed cotton skirt and blouse. Her boots are black ultrasuede, laced up from the toe to the ankle. Her apron is yarn dyed cotton, tied with vintage Swedish cotton trim. A black ultrasuede hat with a black hatband and a black cotton velveteen cape complete her outfit.
Elmira's body is black organic cotton filled with glass pellets and organic cotton; joints have been sewn at the knees and hips, as she is designed to sit, but she comes with a pine wooden stand, made here at our studio, as well as a small wired backrest, for sitting without having to lean on anything.
Elmira's face is bamboo felt over a clay "bone structure", and she has wired bamboo felt hands and arms. Elmira's eyes are hand painted German glass and she has flax hair. Her eyebrows and smile are hand embroidered.
Around her neck Elmira wears a pewter jack-o-lantern pendant. Elmira holds an olive cotton velveteen bag, decorated with glass beads, and packed with her essentials. She carries a broom. (Please note that our bayberry broom sticks are heat treated prior to using).
As are all of our dolls, Elmira is made of 100% vegan materials.
